Found out yesterday the docs have found a lump in my nanas throat. She'll be seeing the specialist today or on Monday, which is freaking me out cos it seems really fast. She's had cancer twice before.
I planned to talk it through with Dave last night but he was exhausted and fell asleep, which left me having nightmares about my friend finding out he had cancer and trying to drown myself (which I saw in the dream), and then me finding out Dave had 4 months to live.
I feel so blagged.
 
sorry to hear that, it might be a good idea to sit down and talk it through with someone, a friend or a professional. Stress can do a lot of damage. We are all hear to lend a shoulder if you need one!
 
I've tried talking to my husband, all I got off him was "Why are you worried?"
My friends are being great though.
 
its good that they are sending her to a specialist so fast.
nothing worse than waiting.
there is a chance it could be something that isnt too bad, so fingers crossed for you and your nan
 
Yeah I know it might not be cancer.. but it's human nature to hear lump and think cancer I reckon.

Yeah he's crap when it comes to emotional stuff really, good job I have friends to moan about him too haha.
 
Blokes usually are rubbish at that emotional stuff. :(

Sorry to hear about your news, and hope your nana is on the mend again soon.

Sorry to hear about your Nanas lump, I hope it is nothing too serious. Try to channel your energy in to positive thoughts, the negative ones eat you up and spit you out :boxer:

She sounds like a toughie so I'm sure she'll be fine ;)
