Had a quick search but not much cropped up regarding shooting there. Anyone been recently? I'd be very grateful for parking tips/any other useful info. Hoping to go there Tuesday night if the games not off.

Thanks everyone, hope you've all had a great weekend.

Phil Carvell used to shoot there, ive only shot there once for the YP, theres a big car park on unmade land on Netherfield road about 200 yards away, exit the car park and head down the little footpath to the left hand side towards the railway bridge, theres a smaler one for players/officials etc outside the ground but you need a pass, dont park on the narrow road/lane down the side of the ground as its mainly resident parking, theres also some "unofficial" parking near the station, cant help with lighting as i was there in the day time

There is free wi-fi but you wont get a signal pitchside, you also need to book in advance at press@guiseleyafc.co.uk

This was a few years ago so somethings might have changed

Many thanks Gary. Will be interested to see how good the lighting is. Pass request has already been sent, just hoping the game is on as Saturday's was postponed.

Cheers

For anyone interested... Guiseley was a great club to shoot at. On arrival I was given a nice coffee by their media guys (who set up at the top of the seated stand). I was a bit surprised that I didn't need a pass or even a high vis/bib to go pitch side, large camera bag seems to be enough evidence of what you're up to! You can sit wherever you like although 'they get a bit annoyed if you try to sit between the 2 benches' as I was told by one of the other photographers!!! I'm not surprised! The lighting was pretty decent too, a little bit patchy but 1/640th ISO 2500 f2.8 did me ok.

To top it off I wandered over to the chip van after I'd packed up and a lovely lady gave me some free chips. That's more than I've got for covering some high profile games on spec! Haha.

I'll be going back for next weeks game vs Grimsby for sure. :)
