First impressions are that it lacks a little something in the flavour department.
Seems as though it can't quite make up its mind if it is stout or beer.
Anyone else tried it?
 
I had a free one in my local. I didn't like the taste, it was a bit strong for me and not very difficult. I do like their new Porter though.
 
They can't even make a decent stout, so I wouldn't fancy their chances at getting the other end of the scale right.
 
It's not that I hate it, it's just not the best stout in the world.

Or Ireland.

Or Dublin.


The 'new' West Indies Porter is better, but no better than the porters already readily available made by like Fullers, Shepherd Neame, St Peters, Meantime...

The success of Guinness is a triumph of marketing.
