me, at 7.40 this morning.
three hours in casualty later, with a baloonlike right foot .hobbled to the wifes car, and now i need crutches to get round the house.
what a pillock.
fortunately nowt broken.

it was suggested that i should have landed on my head, to avoid injury.
who needs mates eh?
 
The lorry wasn't on a ferry at the time was it? if so you have caused an awful mess :p

What were you doing on the back of a lorry?!
 
i drive a lorry for a living.
i was moving the pallet truck, to get the last pallets on.
been on the back of lorries 1000's of times.
slipped on the wet side rail and landed on my arris, left hand and right foot.
turning the foot as i landed.
bruising derrier and a ******* painfull foot.
ah well sh..... happens.

Wait for the H&S investigation to kick in now, you'll end up having to wear a harness to get in and out of the lorry;)

you were lucky there, i only knew one other bloke fall of a truck, broke 2 or 3 ribs. hope it gets better soon.

Sympathy from me mate, I went off the back of a bedford with it's tail gate up, and literally flew face first, hovered a little then came crashing down to earth breaking 3 ribs. Everyone was laughing of course, until they realised I wasn't moving :)
 
loads of fun today. two feet, different sizes. huge bruise on my back and assorted sore extremeties.fun getting up and down stairs on crutches. hopping realy tires you out.
yeah lucky i didnt break anything realy.
the parrot one has been done several times.
as i get older, i dont bounce as well.
thanks for the sympathy, and the p** taking. cheered me up lots.

lot easier today. less pain and i can just about stand on it.
hoping i'll only need a week or so off work.
spending time backing up stuff onto discs.
and clearing my hard drives a little.
just starting to get a little bored now.
 
I hope there was some people around to give you marks for star quality and content.

It's the day after the day after that the pain really starts to come through. Just thought I'd cheer you up. :D
