Sadly it is not

Edit: I said blue brothers cos of your mention of the cigarette lighter, sure that a quote in it

My cigarette light lighter reference was because 'Now, Voyager' was the film where Paul Heinreid puts two cigarettes in his mouth, lights them, and passes one to Bette Davis .... it set the style for unsafe sex scenes for about the next 20 years!

You on the right lines, cos it took me ages to win I been thinking of cryptic clues so getting a little better, quite proud of this one

No

I'd love to see your reasoning for this. Obviously cos I know the answer it seems straightforward to me

To do with casting a shadow, when the groundhog emerges from it's burrow if it casts no shadow it's said to be the end of winter.

Good knowledge

casts no shadow - 'cos it's Dark
Synovial joint - Knee
His kind have been known to say "knee"... Knight (okay - it should be Niii!!)

Though why he's calling me a Sausage, I'm not sure
