Hi All,
looking for a little bit of assistance with a group shoot I have been asked to do by the local childrens centre.
Basically its an update of their group photo on the wall as they have a couple of new staff members and as some of the ones in the old snap have left. Its only a group of six and will be shot against a colourful background (Childrens work) although there is some flexibility over exactly how colourful (Choice of decorated walls).
Kit wise I have a Nikon D90 with a D40x as a back up camera. I have an SB600 I can use off camera, along with an ancient vivitar flash and an optical slave to trigger it if necessary. Also have a reflector and voice activated light stand available!
my question is where to best position my lights with a group shot like this? I have only ever shot couples or individuals before and so am struggling with how best to do the lighting.
My thoughts were the SB600 high and right of the group with the reflector to the left providing some fill?
Help!
