Gridspots.

Having seen these in action last weekend, I am keen to invest in a set. I want to buy ones for a normal flash as well as using them on a speedlight using a darksphere.

Anyone know where a good value set can be found? I am looking to but Elinchrom Bxri lights eventually, so they will need to be compatible.

I guess it depends on the reflector used on the Bxri

I've got the Lencarta grids that clip in nicely and are about 50% of the price of the Elinchrom ones but I don't have an Elinchrom reflector to try them on.

I do have a set of speedlight grids from Flash in The Pan btw. It's possibly cheaper getting those for £15 than creating a darksphere (as the lambency diffusers alone are between £12-20 on ebay)

The Lencarta ones (10,20,30,40 deg & set of these 4) will fit the Elinchrom standard 7" reflector. They will also fit any other reflector of the same size that has a lip for honeycombs - most makes of flash use this size of reflector.

Cheers both of you, they are perfect. Will go for a calumet 30 for a start just due to money situation, but will be ordering a full set Garry when I am a little more flush.
