I love portraits with grey backgrounds, who's got what and where did they get it from. Maybe one with a train.

Anyways can you share photos of kit and final snaps as well.

Standard colorama paper in Storm grey works for me as it can take various gels and gobo's projected onto it to vary it up and add separation.
 
Grey is the most versatile. You can easily make it black, or even white, with clever use of speedlights. It's the best colour for blending other backdrops in post too as there's no colour spill on your subject. You might need a specific grey though, like 18%
