As a photo, number 2 for me, but I guess number 1 looks like it fits the theme more tho I wonder what 'less wall' might make it look like, other than just less wall!
I dont think anyone can question the firePOWER of this beast. I heard a pair were coming into Barton via Facebook and thought that i would have a little run out and see what i could get.
Dark - Well done for getting a shot of the buzzard, nice sharpness on the bird considering the light and the fact it was moving, maybe a little less wall would have been good. Dirty boy is a good shot, like the detail in its coat and I like the choice of the horizon across the middle.
Power - wow, that's fantastic. Great angle you have got and a good shutter speed to keep some blur in the rotors but keep the pilots sharp. No crit on this from me.
WOW and WOW, I love this cracking shot of the beautiful Apache Gunship, a shot to be proud of. You can`t get much more power than this, well done on the good prop blur too
Yup, it certainly epitomises Power.
Just the right amount of prop (well, wing) blur, a bit of heat haze thrown in from teh exhaust, and an interesting manoeuvre.
I think you've nailed this action shot.
Wow... just love that shot for Power, a perfect angle and spot on movement in the rotors, the heat haze from the rear tops off the image nicely, cool indeed
Structure - a lovely image for the theme, she looks like she is having fun.
Routine - I like the composition of this image and I know what you mean about the string ends getting stuck in your fingers I have the same issue on my guitars.
Dark - both images fit the theme, but the buzzard image is my fav one.
Power - a cracking image no crit needed for this one.
Above. Whilst using quite a cheap nasty lens, I managed to get this using a bit of a long exposure and a remote. I had a series of 3 but for the life of me, I cant get them merged. Both the moon and the ISS are above me, and I was enjoying a rather nice Gin and Tonic whilst i was checking my ISS tracker app and counting down the minutes. There is quite a bit of light pollution showing, but i am off to scotland next week with a proper lens so hopefully, whilst not for the 52, i may get some better images, without the orange, and also with sharper stars. (probably won't need to be so harsh with the PP too!)
Liking that too, so much in fact the combo of the top elements nearly holds the shot without the roof top, but that does add to the sense of the theme, so all good
That looks good to me...and photography with a g&t at hand...sounds like you've cracked this lark! Would love to see your Scotland images - maybe you could put a link in?
Aweeee bless the little Lamb, I must say for a moment or two I thought it had 4 ears
<EDIT>Ha Haaaa I nearly always comment on an image without reading others comments, this time I missed your description too... what a great pic for the theme
Evolve ....the shape of things to come very well spotted, a good fun take on the theme.
Smashing photo of the moon and the ISS for Above , that's a good app for tracking it isn't it.
Plus plenty of Power in the helicopter, really well captured with those whirring rotor blades.
Above - Blimey, the ISS moves quickly doesn't it. 29 seconds for that much travel...
Quite like the halo effect around the moon, it disguises the fact that it much be elongated by the long exposure.
Evolve - Hmmm... Well, it's on theme certainly. What is interesting is how the other sheep in the image doesn't appear to have moved while you were getting this.
I don't follow @LC2 ? It's only one shot, with mother to the left and two lambs stood in a line astern. It's just that from the shooting angle, most of the rear lamb isn't visible
