Hello
Mark here from west Cornwall where I run an elevated photography business using a 52' telescopic mast, been established for just over 12 months.
Yesterday of course we had pretty horrendous storms here in Cornwall, with wind speeds on exposed headlands I would estimate at just over 100mph. Spent 15 hours driving around the coast, Porthleven, Sennen Cove, Land's End, Porthcurno, Botallack, Levant, St. Ives, Godrevy, Portreath, before heading back to St Ives to catch the spring tide at 7pm smashing into the harbour.
Got some excellent shots, albeit some a bit blurred from all the very heavy white out conditions and water spray borne on the the very high winds. Was in fact harder work trying to stagger, walk down steep hills, that it was coming back up them at the end of getting a few shots in particular locations.
Will post some some images up in a bit, but first a legal question about image theft and copyright, which was my first reason for signing up here at this forum, so better find the right section to ask that first.
Many thanks for the activation of the account, wishing you all the best, and if you are about to get battered by the storms tomorrow and your out doing any photography, stay safe and keep your wits about you.
All the best!
