Hi all,

Been looking around this forum for the past couple of weeks and decided it was time to register. Seems like a nice friendly place to learn and be inspired. I'm looking forward to learning more and improving my skills here.
I'm a 30 year old Brit who has been living and working in Japan for the last 16 months. Sadly I've barely scratched the surface in terms of what it has to offer photographically, but I'm doing my best!
Usually spend my days off wandering around the city with my wife looking for things to shoot or drooling over the camera gear at the large used section in Kitamura Camera.

I like pretty much all styles of photography and will happily shoot anything that catches my eye. My goals in photography are really just to have fun, keep it interesting for myself and those who view my photos.

Cheers

Phil

Hi Phil,
Welcome to the TP forum, hope you enjoy your stay..:):)

Hi Phil, and :welcome: to TP.

Thanks Peter, I'm trying to get out as often as possible but work gets in the way of that...
I might put a few of my older shots up for critique, people on flickr don't seem to offer any criticism for fear of offending by the looks of it.

こんにちはそして歓迎

I really hope that says hello and welcome...lol

Look forward to seeing some pictures from you soon....:)

Thanks again for the welcomes!

Japan is certainly an interesting place but like I said I'm not getting out enough with the camera :-(
Next month however, I will be visiting Kyoto when my folks fly over from the UK. So I will hopefully have a some nice new shots to share.

Cheers

Phil
