Hi everyone 
I was linked to this forum by a friend and have been glued to the screen for hours at a time, browsing away! I've already picked up some amazing tips but I'm still a noob, and a little overwhelmed tbh so where better to start!
I've had an interest in photography for many years, having captured some great moments with P&S's, but I've finally taken the plunge into the SLR world and picked up a Canon EOS 500D on my last trip to America (I refuse to call it a Rebel - pah!). So I look forward to spending lots more of my time on here, learning how to use the darn thing!
