Some of you may have noticed I've not been around much for the last 3 weeks. Well I'm currently working in Canada, and arrived in Calgary, Alberta, today. Finally I have a comfy bed, decent net connection, and I'm only sharing a bedroom with one guy instead of 20! Been around a bit, visited Banff, Lake Louise, Cochrane (and the Rodeo! Yehaw!), Medecine Hat, and a few other places. This is an awesome country!

And Kokane is fantastic...anyone who's been here will know what I'm talking about!
 
Hey Chris noticed it was a bit quiet lately. Sounds like fun though :)
 
It's cool now I'm in a hotel, but the last 3 weeks have been crap. It's going to be hard work this week, but the jacuzzi, pool and waterslide will more than make up for it!
 
I didn't get across to BC which sucks, but West Alberta is amazing. Calgary is cool, Cochrane is a beautiful little town, really enjoyed sitting in the Royal Canadian Legion branch there and getting rat-faced with the vets lmao. I'm here til late next week, then going home, but I'll be bringing my wife out here next year hopefully. A few days in Calgary, a few days in Cochrane, a few days in Banff and maybe some time at Lake Louise, then wherever I can find!

Mine was working out in BATUS in 03 when I went to visit, 10 days in and around calgary and we wanted to emigrate on the spot!

I went last year and it just re-affirmed my desire.

(med hat is dogs though isnt it, altho silver buckles was a good night out!)
 
Med Hat is one of the biggest s***holes I've ever had the misfortune to visit...and I come from the Midlands, so that really is saying something.

I love Calgary, but I don't think I could live here. Cochrane, on the other hand, I really could see me living in. Or Banff.
