Hello Everyone,

I thought I would join this forum for 2 reasons, I would love to start taking nice photos from my lief and capturing my memories which my grandfather got me interested in, and as he is no longer here, its something i would like to carry on.
Also, i have never owned a DSLR, and would like advice on buying my first one (ill probably post another thread about with my needs, if the research i do on this forum comes up with zilch, or confuses the hell out of me :P), so to sum up, never used a DSLR, and i like spending hours looking at photos :P

hi stylis10 and welcome to the forum my advice to you is go to your local camera shop and they will advise you on a beginner camera as i am new to this site and photography i use a panasonic luminix g2 hope this helps with your search
 
Hi stylis im new here too, but my advice would be to buy a well known dslr brand of camera and stick a 50mm prime lens on the thing.Then get out there and enjoy it you will be amazed at how quickly you will pick it up.

I'm the same as you. Never owned a DSLR and a complete beginner. Just get stuck in and ask questions. Loads of info on the forum. It all seems confusing but if I can start to understand it then anyone can!

I went to my local camera shop and they helped me find the camera I needed.
