Hello all :wave:

Thought I'd get myself on a forum to talk about the hobby that i love. This way it stops me from boring my girlfriend to death.

I started photography about 2 yrs ago and have now had enough of hearing what my family and friends think of my images, and i feel I'm ready for some hardcore criticism of other photographers.

My main interest is landscapes but will also shoot anything that catches my eye.

I'm constantly trying to learn and to improve and also considering joining a camera club. But think i'm still at the shy stage in photography and hopefully sharing images with others will help fight that.

Anyone else in the same boat? would love to hear from you!!

I'm good thanks, just working my way around this site. Is photography your profession or more of a hobby. I see you've got a 5D in the kitbag, nice camera. I shoot on a 40D, not quite the spec of the 5D, but still one of the best things i've ever purchased.
 
It's my 2nd profession. Like a lot of people........what originally started as a hobby has over the years turned into a 'paid hobby'!

You've joined a great forum. I only joined just over a month ago........and have found everyone to be friendly and extreeeeemely knowledgeable!
