Hi everyone,
another newbie to the forum here.

I only found this forum within the last few days whilst looking around for such a place and it does seem both friendly and very knowledgeable, so yes, this is where I chose to join.

I have been interested in photography since I owned my first SLR which was an Olympus OM10 some 30-ish years ago.
About 7 years ago I changed to Nikon with an analogue and then a couple or so years later invested in digital technology with the D200 when it became readily available.

My main interests lie within landscape, nature, close-up & macro photography and although I do get some pretty good results, I am hoping the experts in here will help me achieve better consistency and take me up a level or two.

Finally, I don't live in England at the moment, but I am a native Yorkshireman.

I see from a different post that you lived in Liphook, I've been in Bordon for the last 10 years and Alton before that.

Yes, moved to Liphook from Yorkshire in 1988, stayed 10 years and moved abroad in 1998.

Bordon is literally just down the road (as you obviously know).
