Hi,

I recently got a green screen and took some photos but i'm unsure how to get the best results from editing the background.

I'm using Photokey 6 but anything i seem to try comes out looking very amatuerish and pretty poor.

take this image for example (not the greatest picture i know). whats the recommendation for changing the background without making it look terrible?

thanks.

get it ironed and lie it so there's no creases would be priority

Again, not done much green screen work, but it needs to be much taughter. Iron it and stretch it so that you loose the creases and therefore the colour differences.

The actual image of the girl is soft as hell, as well.

As above, it needs to be crease free, taught and pull your subject a bit further forward to avoid problem shadows on the bg. The background needs to be evenly lit to enable any software not to have a hissy fit and the last thing - i've found that paper is better than fabric for chromakey stuff.
