Green Lane, Horbury - graffiti tunnel

There was a meet planned for here earlier in the year which was snowed off, but quite by chance a pal of mine took me here yesterday, and it was only when we got there I realised it was where the meet was going to happen

So, totally unplanned, I just took a few snaps of her car and on the back of these I have several others wanting theirs shot here too

FYI - all shot handheld at about 1/10th sec with a speedlight sat on the floor as OCF

Just posting really to let you see what a great spot this is for cars, models etc. and its long too as it goes under the M1, quite varied artwork and some of its really impressive too

I used to ride my bike through there on a daily basis when I lived in Wakefield. I had no idea it had such cool graffiti there now.

Someone nicked her motor and changed the plates half way through the shoot

True is... that as I was working quickly and being slack I'd managed to blow the centre of that plate out with the flash and hadn't noticed, so as a joke for her (and to hide my shame) I stuck her name there instead

A lot of councils do this these days, there are several "legal spots" around Norwich. Some of the artwork the guys put up is amazing.

My ability goes about as far as a stick man though
