Here is the reply back from zoner
Thank you for sending us the sample file. The Canon EOS 80D's RAw files, unlike the 7D MkII, are not natively supported by the internal RAW developer of Zoner Photo Studio. This can cause that the unsupported RAW files can be interpreted incorrectly. However, Zoner Photo Studio X can develop 80D's RAW files if you expand its capabilities by integrating Adobe DNG Converter into it.
To do so, take these steps:
* Download Adobe DNG Converter from
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Windows
* Install Adobe DNG Converter.
We recommend not changing the suggested location on disk.
* In Zoner Photo Studio, press Ctrl+M.
This shows the Preferences window.
* Go to the "RAW Format" preferences.
* Turn on the "Use Adobe DNG Converter to load RAW files" option.
If you installed Adobe DNG Converter to the suggested location on disk, then you're done now. Click OK.
If you did not install Adobe DNG Converter to the suggested location on disk, then tell Zoner Photo Studio where that location is. To do so, click the "folder" icon on the right, and browse to where you installed ADC. Then OK everything.
