I'd say more stupidity, but that's for another threadWould you say that doing nearly twice the speed limit is also a sign of impatience?

I'm merely passing observations - a mere observation of the behaviour and activity of a certain sector of society. It's more the petty sums involved that make me laugh, to me grubbing around over a gain of under £10pw is laughable....
Whats pigeon feeding got to do with it, can you please explain?
That, and also how through impatience/greed they've managed through sheer demand take out a website/over work a company and its staff etc.
Its like the behavior you see in Black Monday, etc and the lead up to Christmas. Just sheer impatience and greed to get a little extra off something/more back...
No, as Neil said, websites are set up to cope with a certain amount of traffic and a bit more for emergencies, but any sudden influx will cause problems with overloading. There was always going to be a massive increase in traffic so perhaps they could have allowed for that and no, I don't believe for a minute, regardless of how much you deny it, that if this was something that was aimed at you, you wouldn't be on here moaning about the incompetence and how their website should work properly, they should have planned for it.
The point about banks and companies that set up HQ outside of the UK, is just that. They are companies. Companies are in business to make money, and if they can make more of it legally by having an HQ outside of the UK, so what? Good luck to them. Its the same thing as Formula One drivers living in Monaco for the benefits their tax system brings.
£400 may be sweet FA to you Steve, but im guessing that for a lot of Pensioners (and non pensioners), it is entirely worth it. Greedy? No.
Would you say that doing nearly twice the speed limit is also a sign of impatience?
Who said I wasn't greedy?
So why bash the pensioners?
Your greed, jealously and bitterness perhaps. No matter how you like to try and dress it up (some rubbish about their impatience because they crashed website annoying you somehow), the really simple truth to this thread is that you can see someone getting something you cant, so youve added it to your very long list of gripes.
Like your pensioner bashing then. No, it was purely for fun.
Because I can

Now you're just trying to wind folk up, if you weren't before.Because I can

because his threads are always designed to cause the maximum amount of controversy and/or the most amount of argument. So why bash the pensioners?
not sure how many times i need to say that a company is not even compilable to a pensioner.

Maybe he couldn't login to check on his £100 premium bond.

Now you're just trying to wind folk up, if you weren't before.
Soon as the thread turned onto double speed limits I might have turned the volume up to 11...
How soon will he be allowed to drive again? Then he can tootle off and stop finding fault![]()
Thats kind of assuming he'll be able to find insurance for much more then a 1.1 Feista
An extra £400 a year might help with the premiums...oh wait...
Corect me if I'm wrong, but OP does seem to like trawling through BBC News and posting links on here to start an argument. I'm not sure if he ever wins any!!!
But...he's not a pensioner so he has no reason to try and enter the website, so why does it matter to him if those who these bonds are aimed at cannot get onto the site.
Greed, Envy, Lust. That's three of the 7 Deadly Sins. More than enough for one man.
How soon will he be allowed to drive again? Then he can tootle off and stop finding fault![]()
I suspect the extra £400 he'll be grubbing around for is going to be a mere drop in the ocean
Ensure more than a fiesta what?Got quotes already....its not that bad...fear not. Thank you for your concern, but I can afford to ensure more than a Fiesta.
