I am a new member and I have only just got into digital photography - I aquired a Nikon D300 from calumet and had excellent service. I needed a lens but Calumet had no deals on - After a look around the usual shops and box shifters I came across - these people http://www.harrisoncameras.co.uk/ I spoke to Simon and was intoduced to old style customer attention and service! I have been bowled over by their attitude and willingness to help!

I purchased a 17 - 55 F2.8 Nikon lens for my d300 and Its fantastic - the lens was pre-owned BUT get this - they put a 12month warranty on all their pre owned lenses.

Just thought I would share this with you all as a new user


I have NO connection at all in any respect to the shop - I live in wigan and they are in sheffield - Yes I drove over to them to do business! and I am well pleased I did!

Saving up for a Nikon SB900 next - I will be buying from Harrisons! they are also willing to do a deal

I visited their shop in Sheffield a while ago, and was pleasantly surprised.

They had quite a large selection of kit (I was specifically after a tripod) and they knew what they were talking about, unlike some other stores, both beginning with 'J'.

I live in Sheffield and Harrisons has to be one of the most expensive shops in the country, i would suggest shopping about first, but if you do find something you want to buy, you wont be disappointed by their service.

Harrisons is the best shop in Sheffield, I find their staff knowledgeable and friendly and an the overall experience of buying from them is 5 star. Having used the other two high street competitors as well i rate them on a different level.
