Well that explains a lot. Have you got any other movies you want to kill for me? :p

Certainly not the best film I've seen, but by far not the worst either.

Sadly, given the subject and potential it should have been a whole lot better.

The list of awful films seems extra long and undistinguished. Many a lot worse than Gravity.

One that really stinks is Adam Sandler's "Jack and Jill" truly putrid.

Subjective yes and we will all have our favourites and disasters.

I really like The Shawshank Redemption but many friends hate it.

One of my favourite films is Top Secret, another being Blood Beach. Neither is an Oscar nomination deserver but both (IMO) worth a look!

How is it even possible to hate The Shawshank Redemption?

I think it is because it runs for longer than 78 minutes, that it has a storyline that shows the breadth of the depravity, boredom and dehumanising effect that prison can have etc etc.

In other words it demands attention.

I just couldn't get over the fact that she "broke" everything she touched :D
I'd certainly not go into space with her!

Could say it was something to do with her being an Lady, but wouldn't dare

That sort of thing will get you a clip round the ear

The film was rubbish though!

Now, for the Telegraph to report the story (6 years ago. .....come on ricardo lol), that's fair enough. But if I were the astronaut in question I would have been a wee bit insulted at the opening line. :p

Now that's EXACTLY how that film should have gone along. Have to admit that the last five seconds did make me snort in laughter.

I don't know who made that video but they did a fantastic job. So nice to see they used Christopher Reeve as Superman instead of the pretenders from todays films. That was superbly edited and very well put together, oh, and yeah it did make me chuckle- specially the last few seconds.

I have passed on your thanks to Mrs Nod who was sent it via Farcebook.

I quite enjoyed Gravity. Saw it on the big screen in 3D. Not the best film I've seen, but it was alright.

Hudson Hawk, now that's an awful film..

I also disliked Lost In Translation, didn't understand why it got good reviews..
