Graphics Software

Blender is supposed to be excellent.
I installed it on a whim a long time ago, but I'm ashamed to admit I failed to follow through and learn more about it.

It's a steep learning curve, but is a fully featured graphic design tool....and it's free!

If you're after something similar to PS and free, you could do a lot worse than GIMP.

Well, I'm not having a lot of luck here. Downloaded Gimp but, when I try to install it, I get the following

Then, when I click on Open, it disappears and isn't in Applications.

Then I downloaded Inkscape but when I open it, it asks me where XQuartz is!
You just need to change Security in Preferences. Usually if you get that message I think that when you go to Security it asks if you want to instal Gimp or whatever and you just click yes.
