Where can I get some good views of Grangemouth from? Access from the water side would be really nice if possible.

I've driven about today but really couldn't find a "safe" and quiet spot to stop and get the business done.

Bit of an Oxymoron but if you go over the Kincardine bridge there are limited views of the Refinery chimneys etc over the Forth from the A985

If you carry on to Culross there is a car park by the waterside that will give you views of the cooling towers of the refinery

One of the only places looking down (north) on Grangemouth is the small road off the A905 signposted for Inveravon.
If you follow the road it crests a wee rise that has a few stopping places.

This pic I think is looking west:

That pic is not from the Inveravon road!
It's from the east side looking west.

I was up there some years back. Within 5 minutes of getting out the car, which was sometime around midnight, police were running towards me. One of the gulf wars had broken out days before and they were a bit twitchy. Tried telling me I needed a permit to take a picture of the refinery from a distance and from a public place...
