Grainy in the rain

hi all, after a rainy day at brands for the bsb i get home to look through my photos and they all seem a bit grainy? is there anything you have to change on the settings from a dry day? also i was shooting in jpeg not raw.
 
we have no idea what your setting where so how can we advise what to change?

post a picture or two with full exif in place then we can help :)
 
Were you shooting on auto ISO,in which case your camera would have picked an higher ISO due to the darker condition.

But as above to little info
 
I would imagine it's either noisy from needing a higher ISO in the lower light levels or it's actually the rain itself as that can look a bit like grain if it's very fine rain.

after looking into it a bit and reading on hear about other peoples experiences it was due to high ISO as it was dark at brands hatch. sorry it was me asking a stupid question, after a day of grainy photos i was trying to sort out before i went back again the next day so i wasn't wasting my time. not that it mattered as after traviling the 2 hours to brands on sunday i went and forgot my camera battery so couldn't take any anyway :(

the day way a bit of a disarster as i queued for an hour to get in the car park, forget my battery then when i try to take a video my phone battery goes dead then i queued for near on two hours to get out the car park. great racing but everything else went down hill, lol :(
