Yes
I find myself in the position in having to sell one of two lenses, and aren't sure which one.

1) Sigma 24-70 2.8 ex dg macro etc (nice sharp copy).

2) Nikon 16-85 vr blah blah etc (super sharp).

Now I do like (trying) to take portraits of my daughter, and a nice walk about lens. If i sell the 24-70 i have a nifty fifty to cover low light, but will miss the range at 2.8. If i sell the 16-85 i will miss the wide side.

Any thoughts?

I will not be buying something else so its a straight choice of which one will have to go, so any help from you guys/gals would be appreciated.

How often do you use the 24-70 wide open, if its not a lot keep the 16-85 vr as it gives you more range and vr to cover the odd lower light incidents, if its loads sell the 16-85

Good point on "wide open" thanks . Static low light is great with the 16-85 from what i've taken in Barca.

I'll chalk that one up as a + 1 for the 16-85 i think.

Sell the 24-70, all my lenses are 2.8 but the 16-85 VR, and thats as I rate it highly. :)

Dont get rid of the sigma you will regret it 24mm not as wide as the nikon but nicer

Keep the 24-70, as above bokeh is wonderful

Interesting turn around we have here now 4-3 to the Siggy

Oh sod it, i'm going to keep 'em both.

Thanks for the input though guys.
