GoT - Season 4 (Contains spoilers)

There isn't a "book up to season 4", Season 4 used elements from three of the books. None of the TV narrative is particularly staying on track as per the books.

don't take my post too literally. My point is have you revealed something we don't yet know?

Eddzz!! PLEASE DON'T CONFIRM OR DENY.....JUST LET IT GO.

wtf troll?

how is my question a troll? If its a spoiler it needs to be identified and edited out so it doesn't ruin it for others

I was going to say the same. I haven't read the books, so going purely off the TV show.
Eddzddzdzdzd's post did seem like he is familiar with the rest of the story (via the books), and has just confirmed there is no more Hound in them.
That means no more Hound in the TV show, regardless of whether he died or not :(

I've not confirmed anything because I honestly don't know! As I said, whether or not "The Hound" is done doesn't necessarily mean that Sandor Clegane is gone. I think it's evident from the TV show that Arya has shown Sandor a new side to himself, so perhaps if he has survived the ordeal then he will learn from his mistakes and begin a new life...

it wasn't that we were concerned about. it's this comment

Further to the "is the Hound dead?" debate, not even in the books has it been confirmed

the point being us season 4 tv show watchers haven't seen him dead. So as far as we know it's not been confirmed.

You've come in with this comment. Now if you are up to the same point in the books as where the season ended then your comment has no spoiler as it's in line with the end of season 4. If however your comment is upon reading onto the rest of the books as it sounds then you are effectively telling us we definitnely wont see the hound in the upcoming seasons.

do you see now why it's imperitive we understand your comment so that if it is spoiling it can be removed, but if not then it can be left

Staff removal of comment

[EDIT] I haven't read anything regarding the Hound's fate, but I know that the books leave it just as open ended as the TV series. In this article Alex Graves, the director of the final episode of S4, confirms that the Hound won't be returning to the TV series. That isn't to say that GRRM won't decide to resurrect him at some point within the last two books, forcing the TV creators to write him into future episodes.

So what happens to Ned Stark?

;)

That reminds me : when I was looking around for the best price on the set of books, a lot of the sites included reviews.
One of them really made me chuckle - it said something like :

"I love that these have been set in the Middle Ages. It's my favourite period of history. It makes me wish that I could have been alive then so that I could have seen real dragons."

Oh dear!

just done season 1 to 4 in about as many weeks...

wowzers.. wasnt overly sure when S1 first aired on TV and only watched the first 2. glad i was persuaded to get up to date.

my favourite has got to be Tyrion. Dinklage really does the character excellently.

looks like there is a first time for everything then. He definitely wrote that one as a filler.

completely disagree. such a battle deserved it own episode, to give it a couple of 10 min slots would've been sacrilege. that and i think the snow storyline is about as important as the Daenerys one.

One thing that is bugging me though, in season 1 Ned Stark was going to talk to Snow about his mother like it was maybe important. And 4 seasons along we have not had anything further.

and i wish theyd light a fire under the bran stark storyline, starting to lose interest slightly. HODOR!

Im going through them all again, I'm up to 107 right now.
Ned told Jon that when he returns they will talk about his mother. It wasn't because there was anything important to tell him, more because they were his final words to him ;)

I have an idea about future series' now that Im going through it again. Watching Arya grow and mature in this early season 1. She's being taught sword fighting (The Water Dance) by a swordsman from Braavos. The coin from whatsisname from Braavos.
I have a feeling she's going to go to Braavos and grow up to lead the people there and come back and fight for Westeros....something like that. There was more I wanted to say on the matter but it's gone now, damnit!

Hang on, doesn't this break the rules by having the potential of being a spoiler for future series. (Although as they are your rules, I guess you're entitled too) :D
