I've finally found somewhere to use as a studio. It's an old farm building and it measures 6mtr x 5mtr x 3mtr high. It's only costing me £55 a month to rent inc leccy and is spot on for what I want it's only 10 mins down the road as well. I needed something that was nice and cheap as I'm only a hobbyist really.
I've got a basic lighting set and 4 backgrounds. I've got a few ideas for it but it will take time before it takes final shape. I'll get a couple of pics up as soon as.
I've seen some studios have these portable wallpapered backgrounds. Does anyone know what they are made of ?

Congrats! And re the background things, try making a frame from 2x4 and plywood(prob something sturdier) and paper onto that? Shouldn't cost too much, was the idea I have :)

I am seeing a "Beccles studio meet" on the horizon

Seriously though well done for finding somewhere to use

Great I wonder what her hourly rate is :-)

The building has been split so I'll put the backgrounds on the partition wall and then put a fixed scene in one of the corners.
That's the plan just need to find the time to get it done.
The floor is just bare concrete and was thinking of putting carpet tiles down rather than painting it.
