Got My Nikon D40

First wanna say hi , and second got my nikon d40 today chuffed to bits ,early crimbo pressie from hubby ( lvs ya bab ), . anyway must dash lots to learn . and my trigger finger is itching to get started .

well here is a pic i took this summer and i took this with a cheap old dig cam , what do you think of it , for my first picture like this, and it was from this pic that inspired me to get nikon d40 and hopefully produce some better pics,although nowhere near as good as the ones on this sight but would be nice to maybe get some good feed back from the pics i produce in future .
