After many weeks of deliberating over what camera to replace my dead Nikon D90 with i opted to stay with a cropped sensor and bought a D500. At the same time i also bought a 64GB XQD card with a fast read write speed and will be using it over the Easter weekend.
 
Thanks, i bought it mainly for wildlife and will be used in conjunction with my Nikon 400mm f2.8 VR II and 1.4x TC.

Thanks, i will be doing RSPB Bempton Cliffs and the Farne Islands over the next couple of months.

I am not a Nikon user but I hear very good noises from the couple of local D500 users and Nikon's 400 F2.8 VR2 is one of their flagship lenses = you have just run out of excuses!

If the image isn't great then it is YOUR fault :eek:
