..not really, its bloody excellent :D

Colours seem much more vibrant compared to my D70s. The LCD screen is much better quailty to.
Love the fact that all the settings are to hand without flicking through menus.
Bit annoyed that that my spare battery from my D70s dosnt fit, and also the ML-L3 wireless remote does not work :bang:
Guess that means I will have to find a seperate wired one to work with it ? - Any recomendations ?

But all in all im very impressed with it, hoping to use it in anger tomorrow :D

lol Congrats on the new purchase. It's a camera I've been looking at but can't get away from the fact for just a little more, Canon offers full frame.

Microglobe. I ordered it together with;

1 x Nikon BL-3 Battery Chamber Cover for the F6 SLR Camera
1 x Nikon MB-D10 MBD10 Multi-Power Battery Pack Grip
1 x Nikon ENEL4a EN-EL4a Battery for Nikon D2X, D2Xs Digital Camera
1 x Nikon MH-21 Replacement Quick-Charger for the EN-EL4 Rechareable

Unfortunately the charger is still out of stock, so the whole order is pending. If it doesn't come into stock soon I might get them to cancel the charger and get that from somewhere else.
 
enjoy as im sure you will, looks like a nice camera, and certainly worth the jump from the d70 (great cam), i dont think its worth me upgrading from d200 tho, i may wait and look at d3 or wait til next year, anyway enjoy :clap:

The charger and the BL-3 are like rocking horse poo at the moment. I managed to pick up a charger from ebay but I cannot find the BL-3 anywhere, I phoned Nikon about a week ago and they told me that I would be lucky to find one in Europe. :eek:

No, D300 is 12.3Mp CMOS (4288x2848 pixels), Focul Length Multiplier 1.5x

Nikon really dropped the ball on that one, they knew how many people were going to buy the grip, so why not bump up stocks of the BL-3 as well? The mind boggles sometimes.

I bought the grip from Campkins for £164.00 which is a brilliant price. I also got the BL-3 and MH-21 from Calumet (Liverpool). They had to get them sent from their warehouse but were there the next day. I guess I must have been lucky:)

The D300 is a great camera. You will love it!
