they missed it off his quote and added it to mine i think...

i cant see whats so hard to believe the audi tt i had when i just turned 21 was insurance group 19 and that was only 870 or near enough why would i lie about a price on insurance lol try an online quote with tesco date of birth 15-09-1986 3yrs no claims drives 2k a year and is parked on a driveway and i will make u up a swansea postcode um.... sa44us

try it if u dont believe me lol

I like your car, very nice - whats the 0 to 60 on it? TT Quattro, no idea why you sold it - fantastic car, oodles more appeal to me...

Here's a pic of my baby, http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3171/2531268712_636b4cb89e_o.jpg - I nearly went for a TT a few months back, my mate now has a limited edition TT Quattro, looks lovely but I can whip it every time :)

cheers for the link and the reason i sold my tt was that the milage was getting on it was nearly 90k and it didnt have a full service history so i wanted to invest in something i can rweturn my money on or more than what id get for the tt

and the man from tesco, he say:

No insurers could quote based upon the details that you provided

Ok, here goes... Using a central Cardiff City address, and your details, I've had a quote off Tesco for £710. Now that's using a 2001 on Civic Type R 1590cc 3rd S (since you don't specify your spec) with NO MODS. That's fully comp with the highest excess they offer and no legal prot.
Your non std alloys for a start will add £200 onto that, not to mention your other mods, so either you've gone for 3rd party only, you're shagging an employee of Tesco's Insurance, or you've lied about your mods in which case god help you if you ever need to claim.

The Civic Type-R is 2 litre - 200 bhp. All versions of it.

It's 6.4 secs in stock form, but there's loads of mods available for it - that EP3 model particularly - including turbos and superchargers.

drives 2k a year

You say you're 21, drive 2,000 miles a year (I assume that's what you mean) and have sold the Audi because it had almost 90,000 on the clock. Even assuming that was your first car, it must have had around 80,000 on the clock when you bought it.

Maybe I'm missing something.

putting a very limitted milage on a car is something used in the past to lower premiums on cars used irregularly (such as my p6 which is insured for 1.5k per year but infact if it does 50miles its a good year!) sadly it also used by people to lower premiums when they actually do well in excess of that, luckily for us with all this information sharing that goes on between DVLA, Vosa and the insurance companies its very easy to confirm whether this is genuine by looking at the readings taken at the cars MOT, therefore its not wise at all to do this as you dont want to get into a situation with the insurance company saying "we only insure you to do 2k a year and you've done 5k, we aint happy!"

2k a year is 40miles a week, which on an every day car is very very little and is easy to exceed.

the entire 'story' reaks so much of b******t you'd have thought it was something to help roses grow.....
