Excuse me but, if you are in deep ****, GB didn't get you there, you managed that all by yourself. If you are not in deep ****, be thankful for your prudent decisions.
Actually Bob, I have a mortgage (which I overpay) and contribute to a pension plan but no credit card debt, no bank loans and I don't possess anything I haven't already paid for. But thanks to Gordon Browns ineptitude and scheming I've had my pay frozen for 4 years, seen my pensions made worthless and my tax contributions sky rocket.
And before you say that it's not Wee Gordy's fault or when the US catches a cold...blah, blah. Consider this.
In 2002, when the US government introduced the Sarbane Oxley act to curb the dodgy financial dealings which resulted in the Enron scandal, wee Gordy was systematically dismantling the regulatory authorities here. When all of the banking worlds con-men and wideboys upped sticks and moved to London, Comrade Brown was rubbing his hands with glee at the illusion of whealth they created and he claimed responsibility for. Now that his actions have resulted in the collapse of our economy and that of the US, he's trying to offload all the blame onto the bankers that he's actively encouraged and groomed for the last decade.
Like every other tax payer in this country I'll be paying with taxes for his stupidity for the next decade, and quite likely many will pay with their jobs and homes.
Will Brown care? Not likely. He'll take up a throne in the Union of European Socialist Republics and continue to blight our lives, whilst lining his pockets at our expense. While someone else has to graft and make the devastating social decision necessary to bail us out of the mire just like in the wake of the last time this country decided to go Communist for a while.
