exactly

bloody hell bob, is gordon your uncle or something? I dont know if you have been watching the news but the country is in deep ****. I dont think our current prime minister and previous chancellor is exactly blameless

Just shows how desperate the big fat socialist ******* is for the middle ground popular vote that he has to wade in on things like this. Typical of the micro management meddling we have come to expent from new labour.

But no he hasn't got more important things to do, or at least he shouldn't have bacause it's Alistair Darling's job to sort the economy. However Gordon is an inadequate leader, a **** poor manager and doesn't trust the old guy with the crazy eyebrows to run the economy.

The way I see it is Gordon is the best of a bad bunch. Who would be better at number 10 at the moment? No one that I can see. I'm not saying he's great but unfortunately we don't have any better.

Better a devil you know.............

anyone pretty much

although i must admit i'm bias after he wiped 70% of my cars trade-in value just as i was about to upgrade it to something more economical and less polluting. Couldnt afford to replace it now, so i'm carrying on polluting.

Excuse me but, if you are in deep ****, GB didn't get you there, you managed that all by yourself. If you are not in deep ****, be thankful for your prudent decisions.

Actually Bob, I have a mortgage (which I overpay) and contribute to a pension plan but no credit card debt, no bank loans and I don't possess anything I haven't already paid for. But thanks to Gordon Browns ineptitude and scheming I've had my pay frozen for 4 years, seen my pensions made worthless and my tax contributions sky rocket.

And before you say that it's not Wee Gordy's fault or when the US catches a cold...blah, blah. Consider this.

In 2002, when the US government introduced the Sarbane Oxley act to curb the dodgy financial dealings which resulted in the Enron scandal, wee Gordy was systematically dismantling the regulatory authorities here. When all of the banking worlds con-men and wideboys upped sticks and moved to London, Comrade Brown was rubbing his hands with glee at the illusion of whealth they created and he claimed responsibility for. Now that his actions have resulted in the collapse of our economy and that of the US, he's trying to offload all the blame onto the bankers that he's actively encouraged and groomed for the last decade.

Like every other tax payer in this country I'll be paying with taxes for his stupidity for the next decade, and quite likely many will pay with their jobs and homes.

Will Brown care? Not likely. He'll take up a throne in the Union of European Socialist Republics and continue to blight our lives, whilst lining his pockets at our expense. While someone else has to graft and make the devastating social decision necessary to bail us out of the mire just like in the wake of the last time this country decided to go Communist for a while.

..... just like in the wake of the last time this country decided to go Communist for a while.

So, Gordy can forget your vote next time then, eh? Just what is your alternative?

I notice that your location is Nottinghamshire; please don't forget what Maggie and her Tory cronies did to that area in the past.

Has there ever been a time in the UK where everyone has been happy-ish with the government of the day?

I don't think there ever has been a time anywhere in the world where everyone has been remotely happy with the government of the day. Unfortunately there's very little more you can do than grin and bear it until the next election brings in the next pack of chumps, repeat until infinity. The *******s in power now are no better or worse than the Tory *******s previously in power and I dare say the next government will be no better (or worse) again. Give the LibDems a shot, they haven't had a go in a long time. What worse a job can they do?

give me a go.

i'd keep the economy growing by getting everyone to borrow as much money as they can and spend it all. Make the country into one huge service industry and get rid of all the manufacturing.

oh, its already been done.

Call-me-Dave Cameron, the man with no policies, the man that Rory Bremner said had made his Tony Blair impression redundant, as Cameron could do it so much better?

Nick Clegg, the man who, err....err...burned down a cactus as a youth?

or perhaps Tony Blair, the man who took us to war to serve his personal lust for power?

Not really much of a choice, is there? Still it could be worse, we could have the choice the Americans have......

I refer you all to my previous comment.

They're all as bad as each other.

Mr GB and the cronies in the goverment want to concentrate on their own jobs.
Maybe they should lose their jobs as worse things happen on the streets of this country

Even though wrong has been done, the matter has been totally blown out of all proportion
