Gopro on top of DSLR

On Saturday night i was covering a local boxing event, and had a moment of madness. I attached my Gopro onto the top of my camera and left it there for a few rounds.Worked not bad,but you can hear the shutter firing on camera.
 
I've seen it alot on the news with the paps.
 
What's over the top of the gopro? Was thinking of doing this when I go shoot an Airsoft event!
 
nothing over the top, was connected to where you would put flash,got a wee adapter from "fleabay"

Nice :) When I've tried that I found it had sickening dips every time I focussed and recomposed. I really didn't know how much I did that....
 
I've done this a few times on photo shoots, quite fun really. What settings did you shoot at? I see it's either cropped in or you shot at narrow/medium?

I think is was at medium, 1080.Not sure.Got another event next month so will have another bash

Nice little video though, cracking combo for the knock down!
