GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition

Are the black edition gopro hero 3 available in the UK yet? I can't seem to keep track of all the gossip about them.

If not, WHEN?!

I don't think there are. I got an email from actioncameras who are pretty well connected saying that the distributor would only get them in the new year. Seems gopro gave all the stock to the US as it's been a very popular camera.

They we're suppose to be available from the end of November/start of December

GoPro are selling them direct http://gopro.com/cameras/hd-hero3-black-edition says in stock and dispatched within 24 hours.

I work for a GoPro stockist and there was a very small drop into the UK about two weeks ago of which we got four into stock and all sold immediately. The next drop of 7000 units is due into UK any day, though guess it will be the New Year now before any reach the shops.

The Silver is readily available.

The Black Edition was showing as in stock yesterday on the GoPro site so I've put my order in although I've not received any confirmation, this may be my error as I put the e-mail address in with a typo, went to the next step and back to it then corrected it but I'm wondering if it's not used the updated address. I tried to phone them today but they're only open Monday to Friday so will check with them on Monday.

Edit - to my surprise this turned up yesterday, looks like it was dispatched on the 29th and came from the Netherlands.
