Googles Project Tango

Has anyone else seen Googles Project Tango? Essentially 3D photography and mapping on steroids! Looks like it has real potential and does the raise the question as to how this might impact those property photographers out there?

I can't see that going down well with the big supermarkets who want you to wander around and thus spend more money than you intended - like sweets etc positioned by the checkouts.

But the NSA may love it - in addition to storing info about everyone on the planet think of the spying potential for mapping every house and building as well..if they're not already doing it!
