So someone posted into a Pentax group on FB they had managed to get their image on onto the Chromecast backgrounds as they had managed to get likes and it gained popularity. I've taken a look at Google+ and its a little confusing! Is it like Flickr? I'm asking as I saw few communities that looked good so joined them but when posing an image I get the options to set image to public or add to a group but only 1 so adding to multiple groups like Flickr is a no no?? So if I wanted to add an image to a few groups I would have to keep uploading it rather than just have one shared out ?

Is this right?!

It's like Facebook, with the main point of difference being, nobody outside of Google employees actually uses it (aside from posting links for any possible SEO benefits).

It used to be the case that you could only share something to one community, so would have to re-upload, or re-share from the source to add it to other communities. Sounds like that's still the case.

The idea was to have something useful, where people actually communicated and shared knowledge, rather than a Facebook style spam-fest of self-promotion. That's probably why they don't let you add to a million communities at once.
