Google Street View 'Murder'

If only he'd had time to get some tomato ketchup involved as well.

The incident happened in August 2012 but it was not until a year later, once the pictures had been uploaded onto the Google site, that police were alerted.

And it was a further year until the BBC spotted it........

I think once it got reported, the police pretty much had to turn up.

I mean, imagine the fallout if it had been real.

Well yes but I would have expected a missing person to have been reported long before a murder appeared street view....but yeah I do get that the needed to at least go and take a look

classic :clap::clap::clap:

"We had forgotten about it when the police arrived a year later and we apologised for wasting police time. They found it funny."
:rolleyes:

At least they saw the funny side
:D

If I knew when the Google van was passing, I'd moon it (then nip round the corner and flash it!)

I took a picture of the google streetview car as it went by my house.
The driver then stopped the car, got out and informed me I couldn't do that.
I educated him :-)

It took him 6 months and a lot of therapy to get over the experience ;)

How dare you take a picture of someone taking a picture of you / your house / your car!
