Google not responding

Anyone else experienceing Google constantly freezing and displaying the message 'google not responding', any solutions as it's driving me mad.

google as in the webpage or google chrome the browser?

I don't have Chrome, it's on google search, the page constantly freezes especially when using the back button to return to google.

Seems to be a common problem after searching it, going to try this..

Keep getting "This site wants to run ActiveX" boxes when loading google, seems to be since a recent update.
