Google maps nav. recent update

Is anyone else experiencing bad issues since a recent update maybe a couple weeks ago?

My main issues are:

1. It tells you the road is closed and then it insists you go there. You drive past and it tells you to go back. Had to switch to Copilot first time in a year.

2. Splitting motorways / exits always cause the device to get lost. It follows for a second, then "jumps" back (and forth and back) to the other road and starts issuing very misleading directions

3. Tap to reroute. Well I would if it wasn't on windscreen and I wasn't driving. Losing display for a minute during some roundabout navigation is just what I need.

This wasn't an issue before. Now I find it unusable.

Not had any problems myself, just updated to V9 too which is great to use

not had any issues like that here either, though it does seem to struggle more to pick up the sat signals in the first place, which can be hugely annoying when on a schedule. Otherwise its working as it always has.

I installed OSMand Free navigation software as an alternative to Google maps. I cant use Maps as it needs an internet connection to calculate a route. And as I mostly need it abroad, and have no data roaming, Google maps is unusable.

And on the PC at home they've changed Google Maps so now, if you share saved locations, you can't change the icons, like on the old maps. Bunch of rubbish!

I can remember that one a couple months ago when I strayed into Glasgow centre with fairly tall buildings. Most phones can't communicate with GPS is such conditions. I can see why London is giving you trouble. In rural villages (for you Londoners ) it's all quick and snappy.

Well no, thats the thing, it's been fine in London, its when I have been out in Herts/Bucks in the middle of nowhere pretty much that I have been having problems and really has just been the last couple of weeks.

I use copilot all the time. I have traffic ipdates on it. I've always found Google navigation a bitbslow on my S3.
