Google images now showing EXIF information

Google image search will now show EXIF information for images where available and also the the option to show other sizes if avaliable.

What are the disadvantages of this or is this a good thing?

I was thinking the same thing, I am not sure if this is good or bad. I can see advantages for checking settings etc but disadvantages as although this information is embeded in the image anyway it is sometimes nice to have this hidden away in the case of people stealing images as the user of the image maybe not know about EXIF data and can be used against them to prove ownership.

But Google knows everything about me anyway so am not overly concerned!
