Google+ Image Embed?

Having run out of space on flickr for the moment, I have decided to look at google+, uploaded a few pics to it, but I was wondering if you can embed an image into a forum post like you can with flickr?

You can right click and copy image url in google plus, and then post the linked image here.

It looks like they are actually hosted on picassa. This happens with images uploaded to blogger too.
