Good used price?

Nikon 85mm f/1.4 D AF

Just wondering if anyone has bought a used one of these and what I should expect to pay for a mint condition one. The one I have seen is priced at £600 - Is that about right or should I hold out for something a bit cheaper? The current lowest price on CPB is just under £800.

Grays list them at £949 new, so I would suggest that £600 is a good price for a mint one. I have noticed of late that the lowest prices on CPB are either wrong when you follow the link, or out of stock.

I bought a new one 12 months ago £550 (Onestop) worth every penny, great lens.
 
Thanks Martyn, I'll probably get this (if it's still there after the weekend). If I haven't punished my credit card too much at Focus that is.
 
thats the going rate but it may go up when new prices go up so i would be quick

i was happy with my f1.8 but once you have the f1.4 you will never go back

this along with my 50mm f1.4 is my favourite lens

you will not be disapointed
 
Thanks Ditch, but the 1.4 is the one I have my heart set on. After seeing a number of pics from that lens I'd regret not getting it.
