Is there any good FREE software for making timelapses? or even a free trial of another software that yous would recommend?

Also something for deflickering. I haven't quite got the hang of timelapses yet. Only ever done one and it was *****e to say the least lol

Sorry my OP didn't quite cover everything, I was in a rush lol.

I have Magic Lantern on my 550D. I am just after some software on the pc to piece it all together after taking all the shots with ML.

I have Windows Movie Maker but it's about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. Too simple lol, I like more fiddly things. With windows movie maker all you have to do is highlight all the pictures for the timelapse and shorten the time of the video. I worked it out for every picture the time wants to be 0.04secs, this is for 25fps. Obviously shorter time per shot for more fps.

Cheers:D will check it out. I have Lightroom 4.4, no intention of upgrading either, it has more than what I need. Looks like that LRT has the deflickering as well which I'm after.

Edit: Just installed it and it won't open. I get a Java message pop up saying "Could not create the java virtual machine" and "a fatal exception has occurred, program will close"
I'll have to have a nosey around their forum to see if there's any solutions.

Windows Movie Maker is free.

In the Home tab - Add Videos and Photos. Select all the photos that make up your timelapse and add them to your project. Then in the Edit tab - Ctrl-A to select all the images, then change the Duration to get a video of desired length.

It's easier if you've already edited your images to get things like exposure/WB/etc correct in another package.
