There was a thread on here a couple of months ago about diffrences between online and high steet camera shops.
My response to this was I'd be happy to pay a premium if it was followed up by a good after sales service.
So yeasterday I went in to my local camera shop to buy some sensor cleaning solution & swabs and said to the owner "this is a first for me, do you have any tips"? He said if I could wait until today his colleague would help me through it.
As promised, the colleague spent 15 mins cleaning the sensor for me and showing me how its done. No charge!
Moral is (as any tog knows), its hard to spend any amount of time in a camera shop and leaving empty handed. So treated myself to a nice new monopod
Well done to the guys at Farnham photo & video
