Hi everyone,

Thanks to the recent weather I'm in the market for decent rain covers for my cameras, currently a 7D and 5D MkII. I've got some OpTech clear plastic ones that are good for my 7D and big telephotos but I'm after something smaller now. Basically to protect my 5D/7D with 50 or 85 f1.4 primes on the front.

Most I've seen after looking around online (and the OpTech ones I've already got) are more aimed at people using big telephotos and are basically far too big so if anyone can point me in the direction of something more suited to the 5D + 85mm type of combination I'd be grateful.

I bought one of These which is a copy of the original Canon item but only a quarter of the price. Works well, the clear window steams up but a little anti-fog (Rain X etc.) cured that.
Just seen that it's out of stock at Amazon but there were plenty of other places stocking it.

Think Tank Hydrophobia 70-200 is a really good option. Pricey at £110 but very well made and built to last.

You do have to get an eyepiece as well which is specific to camera brand

Hi everyone, thanks for the replies. Sorry for not getting back on here sooner, my interweb was playing up all weekend. Seems to be ok now though.

Some good suggestions here, I'll have a proper look around the links etc tomorrow morning. The wildlife supplies link looks interesting.
