Hi all,

I am pleased to say that on Saturday Myself and my wonderful lady, Charlotte got engaged. :love: We are extremely pleased and very happy. :D:D:D

Now the planning begins.

Thus, I am now "in the market" so to speak for a wedding photographer. Can anyone make any recommendations/supply contact details for any in the west sussex area?

At the moment no date is set although we are looking at sept/oct 09.

I hope people don't feel this is a cheeky post, only, I have no idea where to start and it was here or yell.com and I'd rather have your thoughts and opinions first!

I'm not sure we'd fit you all in, we are already looking at a huuuge number of guests, I think half of shetland will be there! (the bride to be spent a large part of growing up there).

Many congrats! I remember that newly engaged feeling (although it was a while ago!)

The chap that did my wedding came from London somewhere - can't remember off the top of my head, but came out to Basingstoke for both mine and my best friends wedding, so I'd think he'd travel to you. His name is James Bartram, but I can't remember his website. I'll look it up and PM you the details tonight.

Sorry can't help with the photogrpaher, but if you are going to offer an "Open Day" for members here, then I am sure to drop by :p
 
Rob, many congratulations to you both on your engagement.

What about Chuckles on here? He does weddings etc Barry & his wife Marianne (TP member as well) are both excellent photographers. Why not pm him?

Congratulations!

I am doing a few weddings myself but with half of Shetland attending it sounds too big for me. I have worked with a couple of Pro's who cover your area. They are at very different ends of the market, what sort of budget do you have and I will pm you the best fit.

DD - A shetland meet might not work, the wedding is going to be in sussex, unless you mean you all come down too!



Seriously though, thank-you all for your help, suggestions and well wishes, I am astounded at just how many of you replied to the thread. I have also had plenty of PM's so if I have not replied, please bear with me. Its early days yet, but I'll keep you all posted!

i know a guy very well who could proberly do that sort of date. he does alot of self processed black and white work aswell as digital.
