Good luck Lewis!

before moaning and groaning at me work this one out.....

I am cheering on Kimi, Lewis and then Massa......

why? cause in that order Alonso would finish 3rd in the championship, kick the idiot out of the top 2 and lets get a truely deserving British winner, and anyone but a spannish prat in second place!

I'd prefer for Mclearns to suffer mechanical failures that make them have to stop in the pitlane then a Ferrari 1 2.

Think these last seasons have highlighted how much driver skill has been taken with TC, its the cars that wining rather then driver skill these days.

I also think its Hamiltons best long term interest not to win the title this year, many will disagree i am sure, but he does over rate himself a tad, and tbh is doing alot of what Schumacher was doing and got slated by the English pressm where as Schumacher got slaughtered. i.e in quil yesterday, he got in Kimi's way just enough to upset him, but just keep it legal.

Yes i may be a Ferrari fan but id be saying the thing if he drove for Ferrari.

i.e in quil yesterday, he got in Kimi's way just enough to upset him, but just keep it legal.

Ummm not from where I was sitting? Shumacher would have parked sideways across the track.

I think Kimi made an attempt at paying Lewis back for yesterday, so guess that will please the Ferrari Scum Team

Its not looking good for him now 18th I think

Cue all the blinkered ones saying how he was robbed etc....

Fact is Kimi earned it whilst MuckLaren threw it away.

ffs, there is a post that i created saying congrats to kimi where you can post pro Ferrari comments, you don't have to post on a posting started by a british person who is proud of what their sportsman can achieve rubbing peoples nose in it.

Maybe as a british person you should be proud of what Lewis has achieved for britian and for motor sport in the last year, instead of being a glory supporter.

Congrats to all drivers in F1 for making this a good season,

 You need to calm down a bit methinks. ;)

ffs, there is a post that i created saying congrats to kimi where you can post pro Ferrari comments,
Well I didn't see that one . Either way I'm not posting any pro Ferrari comments anyway so

you don't have to post on a posting started by a british person who is proud of what their sportsman can achieve rubbing peoples nose in it.
I assume from that that you have made new rules restricting who can reply in your threads and what they can say

Maybe as a british person you should be proud of what Lewis has achieved for britian and for motor sport in the last year,
You're assuming I'm British (or English to be correct). You shouldn't assume such things but you did get lucky this time. You're also assuming that I'm nto proud of his achievements. On this one you've made a foolish assumption. I am very proud of what he's done, I'm just not as jingoistic as some seem to be.
This will probably be of far more benefit to his long-term career than the win would have been.

instead of being a glory supporter.
Oh you know me so well. :cuckoo:
Any more (poorly considered)assumptions you'd like to make about me while you're on a roll?

I'll assume that your over-reaction to my comment was just a glitch in the system ;)

Well I didn't see that one . Either way I'm not posting any pro Ferrari comments anyway so

Ok so I may have been wrong it may not of been a pro-Ferrari post, but "Cue all the blinkered ones saying how he was robbed etc" isn;t exactly a pro-McLaren posting

You're assuming I'm British (or English to be correct). You shouldn't assume such things but you did get lucky this time.

and the reason I assumed your localtion was cause you put close by, and on this occasion I was right! why hide where you are from? when a few of us in this local area (Surrey, Hampsire, Berks borders) organise a meet we often look to see who is local,a nd when people try and be smart arses and say a stupid location they just get ignored, maybe that makes you feel big!

I am very proud of what he's done, I'm just not as jingoistic as some seem to be.

As you are using a "big" word, I assume you realise the definition of this is

"Jingoism is defined in the Oxford English Dictionary as "extreme patriotism in the form of aggressive foreign policy".In practice, it refers to sections of the general public who advocate the use of threats or of actual force against other countries in order to safeguard what they perceive as their country's national interests."

Whats that got to do with motor racing? maybe pick another word next time

Any more (poorly considered)assumptions you'd like to make about me while you're on a roll?

Plenty but none that I should put on a public forum!

Cue all the blinkered ones saying how he was robbed etc....

why put that? as you have insinuated my assumptions may be incorrect in your eyes, but why do you turn around and say peoples opinions are blinkered. People belive in what they believe, and infact some people may spend thousands of pounds following (and therfore travelling aroung aroung the world to see) a sport they believe pashionatly about. Whats your definition of being blinkered then?

I'll just copy and paste what I wrote on another site

It all went wrong in China. They tried to finish it there when they should have played the averages game. As soon as his tyres stated to go off they should have bought him in instead of leaving him out until the inevitable happened. At least they would have got a few championship points from finishing 5th or 6th.

Today - well that's racing I'm afraid. But again, why stick to the same 3 stop strategy when it's clear he is down by 30 seconds after the early problems? From so early in the race it would have been so easy to change the strategy and given him 1 or 2 stops to make up the time. As it was they wasted the opportunity and threw away the championship for both drivers. Idiots.

I have to say I agree with EmmaT in that Kimi is a monotonous, sullen tw*t and it's a shame he had to win it, but I'd actually rather he did than that backstabbing little tantrum boy Alonso

Ross - doing a 2 stop would of been difficult, they ahd to work out what to do with the super soft tyres when that far back, nearly worked, but not quite

Lewis wasn't robbed of the title, he did that all on his own with a little nudge from his team. Surely it's just bad coincidence, but it's almost as if Mclaren didn't want him to win it.

Shame.

OK I was wrong. It wasn't just an over-reactionary post due to your dis-appointment but a vitriolic one judging by your choice to actually carry it on and evn to attempt to make it worse than it was.

Ok so I may have been wrong it may not of been a pro-Ferrari post, but "Cue all the blinkered ones saying how he was robbed etc" isn;t exactly a pro-McLaren posting
WTF should it be pro-anyone? It was just a coment. Not one designed to get the sort of antagonistic replies that you have proferred.

and the reason I assumed your localtion was cause you put close by, and on this occasion I was right!
 How does my location indicate my nationality in any way. It doesn't.

why hide where you are from?
 I'm not hiding anything. As a few of my posts stating where I am to within a few hundred yards would suggest.

when a few of us in this local area (Surrey, Hampsire, Berks borders) organise a meet we often look to see who is local,
But I'm not local to you and judging by this response to such a simple post I'm not sure I'd want to be

a nd when people try and be smart arses and say a stupid location they just get ignored, maybe that makes you feel big!
Yes, everything I do on the internet is designed to make me feel big. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment to type words. Truth is that I have that as my location on many forums and you seem to be the only one who's ever had such a problem with it. Assume I'm a smart arse and ignore me. I really couldn't care less TBH. An opinion on an internet forum is always going to have me seek counselling.

As you are using a "big" word, I assume you realise the definition of this is
It's not that big a word , only 8 letters. not even a Countdown conundrum in that one.
and of course I know what it means. I don't use words if I'm not sure of their meaning. That would just be stupid.
Whats that got to do with motor racing? maybe pick another word next time
Maybe not. I'll pick which words best describe my thoughts thank you very much.

Plenty but none that I should put on a public forum!
You really do seem to be hellbent on making an ugly scene from such a minor comment. Hope you don't cause fights so easily in the real world

why put that? as you have insinuated my assumptions may be incorrect in your eyes, but why do you turn around and say peoples opinions are blinkered.
Your assumptions were wrong, they were about me and as I know me just a tad better than you I think I get the casting vote on that one.
I put it as that's my belief. You see it all the time, when one person's favourite loses something some people invariably blame everyone/thing else before looking at the real causes.

People belive in what they believe, and infact some people may spend thousands of pounds following (and therfore travelling aroung aroung the world to see) a sport they believe pashionatly about.
And being passionate doesn't usually equate to being level-headed about it.

Whats your definition of being blinkered then?
Failing to see the reality due to ones own beliefs.

I'm surprised you've managed to take my one comment out of context and turn it into an excuse to get abusive and argumentative.
But hey, whatever makes you happy. It's only a post on an internet forum after all.

I would have liked to see Lewis win the championship today, far more so even once he got going after the gearbox problem.

I'm also pretty happy to see Kimi take the glory this year. In fact the only outcome that would have left a sour taste would be alfonso getting the hat trick. I've quite liked him in the past but this year he's been far too petulant.

Jean Todt definatley needs to move Ron Dennis up to the top of his christmas card list don't you think. McLaren have gifted Ferrari both titles this year and frankly, they must feel physically sick looking back at how a string of mistakes have undermined all the work, two very fast cars and fast drivers.

Of course the other important thing to remember is.......

It's just a game. :D

But in reality he's actually nothing like that.
sadly though, I don't get to see him in reality, I get to see him on telly.

There are two times though that he's let slip and showed that there is a human inside the suit that almost make me forgive all his dull press work.

One was the reply to being asked if he was at Schumi's leaving presentation and the other was the donuts he did at spa this year.

Perhaps he'll blossom as world champ.

Probably not, it's the Finnish sense of professionalism that does it.

OK I was wrong. It wasn't just an over-reactionary post due to your dis-appointment but a vitriolic one judging by your choice to actually carry it on and evn to attempt to make it worse than it was.

I'm not actually disapointed by who won and who didn't as I said in one of my posts I am a F1 fan and therfore want to see good racing and a good championship which I thinbk we all got.

WTF should it be pro-anyone? It was just a coment. Not one designed to get the sort of antagonistic replies that you have proferred.
so whats that reponse got to do with justifying "Cue all the blinkered ones saying how he was robbed etc"

 How does my location indicate my nationality in any way. It doesn't.
your right it doesn't indicate where you are from, but from the fact you hid your location and the way you typed your responses, I knew you were British (or should I say english to keep you happy)

But I'm not local to you and judging by this response to such a simple post I'm not sure I'd want to be

ohh did we hit a raw nerve here! so what your saying is you don;t want to live in this area at all, I am glad you pointed that out, as there are a lot of forum member who live within a 10mile radius of here.

Assume I'm a smart arse and ignore me. I really couldn't care less TBH. An opinion on an internet forum is always going to have me seek counselling.

Like I said I won';t put my opinions about you on a piublic forum, but you are helping to back them up!

and of course I know what it means. I don't use words if I'm not sure of their meaning. That would just be stupid.

Do you want to re-read the definition....

"Jingoism is defined in the Oxford English Dictionary as "extreme patriotism in the form of aggressive foreign policy".In practice, it refers to sections of the general public who advocate the use of threats or of actual force against other countries in order to safeguard what they perceive as their country's national interests."

what I do in the real world has got **** all to do with you....

I put it as that's my belief. You see it all the time, when one person's favourite loses something some people invariably blame everyone/thing else before looking at the real causes.

I think you are missing something here, who said Lewis is my favorite? and if you knew anything about me you would know that.

anyway you are now boring me!

I loved the advert that ITV had, 'where were you when england beat south african, where were you when lewis hamilton won the championship' Hmmmm 'where were you when england cocked up everything...'

I loved the advert that ITV had, 'where were you when england beat south african, where were you when lewis hamilton won the championship' Hmmmm 'where were you when england cocked up everything...'

is that for mastercard... priceless cockup?

FFS you two. Get a room.:lol:

We all like to sit and watch the odd web war, it's ammusing.
.......but if you're both going to do the line by line quoting and reply thing, it's gets far too long and boring for the rest of us.

Besides, you're both wrong.

;):lol::lol:

Friendly banter and discussion is what we want here.

I'd rather not have to dig the ban hammer out ;)

I'm not actually disapointed by who won and who didn't as I said in one of my posts I am a F1 fan and therfore want to see good racing and a good championship which I thinbk we all got.
I agree. Shame some of the farcical stuff got in the way really.

so whats that reponse got to do with justifying "Cue all the blinkered ones saying how he was robbed etc"
TBH I'm struggling to kep up with your method of taking things out of context and then asking questions based on that.

ohh did we hit a raw nerve here! so what your saying is you don;t want to live in this area at all, I am glad you pointed that out, as there are a lot of forum member who live within a 10mile radius of here.
Not even close to the skin let alone a nerve.
My point was that I'm not sure I'd like to live by you just in case I got hit by one of the toys leaving the pram.
Not sure why you feel the need to attempt to promote any opportunity of ill-feeling here.

Like I said I won';t put my opinions about you on a piublic forum, but you are helping to back them up!
Good. So at least you can be wrong in private as well as public. Did you not notice that being dis-liked by someone based on one post on an internet forum is hardly something to lose sleep over ?

Do you want to re-read the definition....
Not really, unless it's changed in the last five minuts.

what I do in the real world has got **** all to do with you....
Well that's fine as I'm not even vaguely interested anyway.

I think you are missing something here, who said Lewis is my favorite? and if you knew anything about me you would know that.
No, I think you'll find that it is you who are missing something fundamental here.
The fact that not once have I said my comments were directed at anyone in particular, especially not you. Yet you seem to have taken great personal distress from them and have concocted this rather pointless exchange.
No idea why you made such strange assumptions and too kit all so personally but as long as it served whatever purpose you had for it then

anyway you are now boring me!
I believe that's 'net speak for "Oh dear I've run out of comebacks, hope no-one notices" ;)

anyway, in future I'll make sure I tag any comments I make that are directed at you so that you may respond accordingly rather than assuming they are for you when they clearly are not.

Good luck to Hamilton for next year

FFS you two. Get a room.:lol:

;):lol::lol:

you should expect nothing less. :p

Seems I type very slowly :(

I believe that's 'net speak for "Oh dear I've run out of comebacks, hope no-one notices" ;)

No I believe its my way of saying other people are fed up of reading this, and have asked politely if it stops. But you can think what you like....

Only responding though, not instigating.

Even if you were giving that away I wouldn't buy it.

I've not read any of the tennis posts tbh but I do know that you're both arguing with people that dont exist. Perhaps I'm just a little further from the keyboard eh. ;)

As is obvious those comments were made whilst I was typing (a reply).
But I'm not responding further as it's clear one of us needs to let it lie. I shall do so.
