With the winter coming fast upon us, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of warm/thin gloves to wear that you could still use your camera with?

i did a car shoot this week during the day and my hands were freezing!

I have some Peter Storm fingertipless gloves picked up from Millets, they're perfect for cool conditions, haven't tested them in frost or snow yet.

I have a pair of the Lowpro ones, they are very good.

Plus one.

Looks like its a problem to find th at the moment though ...

Oddly it might be worth having a look in some motorbike shops, not for the big leather gauntlets obviously but you can get quite a snug neoprene type glove giving lots of movement and grip not at all like your typical leather bike glove.

I use these ,cheap as chips and they do the job on cold days and on really cold days I wear two pairs.

I bought mine in my local post office/newsagent but a lot of discount shops sell them.

Fishermans gloves or shooting gloves could give the dexterity for the individual finger use. Even some silk liner type gloves depending how much warmth you're looking for.

buy a normal set of gloves which are warm then on either side the first 2 fingers sand them down so there is little material left on the finger ends (so you can feel the buttons)
