Hi all,

My name is John and I found the forum today.

I started many years ago, first proper camera was an ME Super which I did a lot of aircraft pics with as I was in the RAF.

Along came kids and I swapped to point and shoot digital for everything until 3 years ago I bought the FZ38 for a trip to Egypt. It has since been to Canada and other places with me.

I am now wanting to start experimenting/playing and am considering a 2nd hand DSLR but haven't a clue what I want.

Any advice would be greatfully accepted.

Choices, choices, choices....

I guess I have to ask what you are looking to photograph.

I started a few years ago and got really bogged down with the 'stuff'. From what I've read any entry level DSLR will give decent result. Why not pay a visit to your local camera shot and I've a few a test.
